1.5°C

explanation

This is the threshold of annual world wide temperature increase that limits the consequences of climate change to its minimum. This is compared to temperature levels of pre-industrial times (1850-1900). With every increment of global warming, impacts of climate change are increasing. Currently the world wide average temperature increase compared to pre-industrial level is 1.1°C.
